Here’s the only Weeknd you need. All 3 of his 2011 releases packaged in one with 3 bonus tracks, blatant money-grabbing but what can you do.

  • Various Artists - The Man With The Iron Fists (2012)
Genre - Hip Hop
rym / last.fm
Well for the RZA’s directorial debut he put together a superstar lineup to make the OST. Ghostface and Pharoahe Monch in the same track, my two favorite rappers of all time; new track from Kanye; multiple spots from Raekwon and Ghostface… production from BadBadNotGood (!) on “Rivers of Blood”…  UNFORTUNATELY this is not as good as the sum of its parts (if it were it would be like the best album of the year) - but there are still a lot of really good tracks here and this is the best Wu-Tang affiliated effort in some years. “Six Directions of Boxing” approaches classic Wu-Tang status. dig it
1. The Black Keys / RZA - The Baddest Man Alive2. Ghostface Killah / M.O.P. / Pharoahe Monch - Black Out3. Kanye West - White Dress4. The Revelations feat. Tre Williams - I Forgot To Be Your Lover5. Idol Warship [Talib Kweli / RES] - Get Your Way 6. Raekwon / Ghostface Killah / Kool G Rap - Rivers of Blood7. Method Man / Freddie Gibbs / Street Life - Built For This8. Killa Sin - The Archer9. RZA / Flatbush Zombies - Just Blowin’ In The Wind10. Pusha T / Raekwon / Joell Ortiz - Tick, Tock11. Corrine Bailey Rae - Chains12. Francis Yip - Green Is The Mountain13. Wu-Tang Clan - Six Directions of Boxing14. Mable John - Your Good Thing (Is About To Come To An End)15. Wiz Khalifa / Ghostface Killah / Boy Jones - I Go Hard

  • Apollo Brown & Guilty Simpson - Dice Game (2012)
Genre: Hip Hop
rym / last.fm
Apollo Brown is a getting a lot of hype these days as a producer, I feel it’s well deserved. These beats are pretty sick. Guilty Simpson just sounds like a mean black dude that wants to rape my butthole. I don’t particularly like his flow but this disc is worth a spin for the production alone.
